Mission: Inviting Everyone to Life with Jesus
Vision: Jesus Centered People Building a Community of Greater Love.
Strategy: Care. Connect. Challenge.
Core Values:
Beliefs are not worth much unless they are translated into actions. These are guiding principles that identify who we are; not theologically, but practically.
Spirit-Led
Jesus centered people are growing in awareness
of and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
“For
to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is
life and peace.” Romans 8:7
Self-Fed
Jesus centered people invest time in knowing who
they are and who they are becoming.
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the
riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his
Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through
faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend
with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to
know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with
all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:14-19
Servant Leadership Jesus Centered people love others by taking time
to discover and meet their needs.
“Whoever
would be first among you must become servant of all.” Mark 10:44
Courage
Jesus centered people love others by embracing
vulnerability and boldness.
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear
but of power, love and self-control” 2 Timothy 1:7
Relational IQ
Jesus
Centered people love others by seeking to understand and encourage.
“Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate
hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another
and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord
has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love,
which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:12-14
